Save the date for the next instalment of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Webinar Series featuring Professor Brian Copeland, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Campus Principal, The University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus. His presentation is entitled: A UWI Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem for Revitalising Caribbean Economies.

This webinar presents ongoing strategies and initiatives for creating an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem at The UWI St Augustine Campus. This Ecosystem among other things, will facilitate the commercialisation of intellectual property generated by staff and students and subsequently all Caribbean citizens as the Ecosystem matures.  The ultimate goal is to seed and contribute to the growth of a new economy, made robust by a ‘Caribbean Mittelstand’, comprised of foreign exchange earning companies; expected to manifest in approximately 15 years – by the year 2034.
