A Vice-Chancellor’s Forum – Evolving Canada-Caribbean Relations will take place on November 4 from 9.30am at the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination, Cave Hill Campus.
To be covered are issues marking relations between Canada and the Caribbean region with international business, immigration, education, trade, identity and other cultural exchanges being featured.
Among the Roundtable guests are: the Hon. Owen Arthur, Professor of Practice at The University of the West Indies and former Prime Minister of Barbados; Prof. Kamala Kempadoo of York University; and Mr. Andrew Millington of The UWI Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination. The University of the West Indies intends to sustain this conversation into the New Year to make for a robust research agenda featuring Caribbean international relations with Canada.
