About the Virtual Symposium

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused dental professionals to re-examine cross infection in the context of the novel SARS-COV-2 virus. This symposium seeks to foster discussion on the impact of COVID-19 on the dental practice and offers recommendations for the way forward during the pandemic; it seeks to provide clarity about the transmission routes of the virus, share how the various CARICOM countries have responded and review the evidence and new information that is available to guide professionals into making decisions on establishing our new normal.
