The American Foundation for The University of the West Indies (AFUWI) and UWItv will host a live, virtual Forum, where our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Hilary Beckles will share his perspective on the contributions of Caribbean people and their descendants to the development, history and culture of the US.

The virtual event is in celebration of Caribbean American Heritage Month 2020 in the USA. Vice-Chancellor’s presentation is titled, Caribbean People: Making the American Dream Again.

It will be moderated by Felicia J. Persaud, Caribbean-born, entrepreneur, journalist and CEO of Invest Caribbean.
