Don’t miss Calypso and Soca: The Sound of a People, the Second Annual Community Engagement Lecture Series presented by the Shirley A. Chisholm Centre for Equity Studies in partnership with the SUNY-UWI Centre for Leadership and Sustainable Development.

This lecture series is designed to highlight distinguished leaders in arts and culture innovation, education, government, business, public service, and community activism to foster intellectual growth, cultural enrichment, and economic prosperity of individuals in New York state and the Caribbean.
