Dr. Sa'eed Bawa currently holds the position of a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Food and Agriculture, The UWI, where he has been practising for the past 7 years. Before then, he was an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Human Nutrition, Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Poland. He's a graduate of Warsaw University of Life Sciences and holds Master's and PhD degrees from that university. He's currently the coordinator of the Human and Nutrition Dietetics Programme at the Faculty of Food and Agriculture, The UWI. Dr. Bawa is an active member of many nutrition organisations worldwide, including Community “Nutrition and Chronic Non-communicable Diseases” of the United Nations Standing Committee on Nutrition, Chairperson of the Committee on Exercise and Sports Nutrition as well as Nutritional Oncologyof the Polish Association of Dietitians, European Federation of the Association of Dietitians (Active participant in the program “Obesity Prevention in Schoolchildren''), Expert/reviewer of many food and nutrition journals. He's authored and co-authored more than 100 journal articles, monographs and book chapters.
