The Trade and Economic Unit continues with its online series, National Conversations. On June 4 at 7 p.m., Public Health Specialist, Dr Nyla Lyons, will discuss the topic titled "Public Health and Gender Implications of Venezuela Immigration for T&T".

The session is part of a National Conversations series being hosted by the Unit, which focus on key macroeconomic issues. This session aims too ventilate the national issues regarding the assimilation of Venezuelan immigrants into T&T economy and To raise the level of awareness and the amount of conversation surrounding the economic impact of Venezuelan immigration on the economy. Venezuelan immigrants are a largely untapped economic resources which if properly managed can help to reignite growth and boost domestic participation rates.
