Canada actively promotes a positive narrative of inclusion and respect for diversity. International efforts in this area have been very positive, but often face an initial challenge of terminology. For some stakeholders “inclusion and respect for diversity” remains an emerging and unfamiliar discourse.

Staff and students are invited to join this discussion that is being hosted by the Canadian High Commission in collaboration with the Institute for Gender and Development Studies (IGDS). The speakers for this engaging discussion will be Professor Andy Knights, Professor of International Relations, University of Alberta and Professor Rose-Marie Belle Antoine, Faculty of Law, The UWI, St. Augustine.
