After 30 years of signing on to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, there are many questions on the effectiveness and relevance of provisions, mechanisms, and policies that are designed and implemented to protect the wellbeing of children in Trinidad and Tobago. On December 16, at 10 a.m. using the perspectives of key actors (advocates, policymakers, and service providers), this webinar hosted by the Behavioural Sciences seeks to highlight some of the specific challenges, experiences, and recommendations for protecting children and for improving their overall welfare. Speakers include Mr. Bertrand Moses, Mr. Amilcar Sanatan, Mr. Shane John, and Mrs. Rhonda Gregoire-Roopchan.
