The Faculty of Engineering will host a mini lecture titled, “Renewable Energy for Islands” on Tuesday 26^th March, 2008 in Room 101, Block 1, Faculty of Engineering.

The lecture will be held from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The lecture will consider renewable energy as a promising path to improve island’s energy supply. It will focus on the following key areas:

·         Different renewable energy technologies suitable for islands

·         How technologies should be selected for islands

·         How they can be promoted

·         Solar and wind energy
