The event is geared towards increasing the interest of students in the field of Mathematics and to motivate them to pursue further studies at UWI. It comprises of a grand opening ceremony and various puzzles and logic games, which can serve as a form of stress relief for all secondary school students in Trinidad and Tobago, and students of UWI, whilst also promoting the real-world applications of Mathematics. It will allow students to view Mathematics in an exciting way, spark enthusiasm for the various applications of Mathematics in real-life and highlight the various programmes and research opportunities available at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST).
