The Caribbean Sociological Association (CASA) announces a Call for Papers for its second annual conference to take place virtually from June 15 - 17 2022. The theme of this year's conference is The Sociology of Crisis and the Crisis of  Sociology. Please visit the conference website at https://caribsociology.org/call-papers-and-submission-2022 for more on the various topics for which Abstracts or papers can be submitted. The deadline for the submission of Abstracts is April 30 2022. This year's conference would feature select documentaries dealing with some of the crises that afflict Caribbean society.

The keynote speaker for the conference is renowned Caribbean and Guyanese sociologist,  Professor Emeritus Percy Hintzen, formerly of UCLA at Berkeley and now attached to Florida International University. https://gss.fiu.edu/people/faculty/percy-hintzen/
