While in the medical sciences, quantitative research methods are typically used, health service researchers are increasingly embracing qualitative methodologies to uncover some of the social, structural, relational, and cultural aspects of health care. The Faculty of Medical Sciences is hosting Doing Qualitative Research in Medical Sciences: Some Explorations on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. This seminar will address the nature of qualitative research, possible applications, issues of credibility, data analysis, and significance for relevant health care interventions.
