It has been said that "communication is life." In a world where communication is at the peak of interconnectivity, knowing how to communicate successfully in all facets of your life is essential.

Developing an understanding of corporate communication and communicating post-pandemic is critical to staying competitive. As such, the Business Development Unit in the Faculty of Social Sciences is hosting a two-day workshop on Effective Business Communication, and it will be facilitated by Mrs. Wynell Gregorio, Director, Marketing & Communications, The UWI, on June 14 and 15, 2022. 

OBJECTIVE  

-        Analyze and evaluate audience/purpose/situation as they apply to business writing context  

-        Understand and apply principles for effective business writing  

-        Prepare materials that motivate others to take action  

-        Apply processes (research, invention, writing, revision, and editing) in writing tasks  

-        Incorporate analytical /technical data in the form of charts, graphs, etc.  

-        Design accurate and visually appealing documents.  

COST: TT$1,400 / US$200
