The Department of Computing and Information Technology (DCIT) is offering a fully online Boot Camp on Web Development (WebDev) on behalf of The University of the West Indies (UWI), St Augustine Campus from 18 July to 25 July 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and 2 to 4 p.m. This Web Developer Boot Camp takes Secondary School Students in Forms 4, 5 and 6 and prospective undergraduate students with no programming experience to become a budding Web Developer. Dive in the fundamentals of web development, from design, to coding and deployment.

Learn Web Design and Prototyping, HTML 5, CSS 3 and JavaScript Es6, Web Animation and Web APIs. Interact with UWI Lecturers, Guest Speakers and UWI Mentors. Students will be enrolled on an e-classroom delivered via platforms such as Schoology, Slack & Moodle with video tutorials, live access to an Instructor, guided Labs. Careers in technology are of the highest demand globally and are expected to keep growing. Prepare your child for their future career in the exciting and dynamic field of Web Dev.
