Through technology, the world of education is evolving every day despite the mode of delivery (face-to-face, blended or online). From Prezi and Canva to Twitter and Twiddla, there is a plethora of exciting technology tools that are not only free but easily available and convenient. In the current landscape of 21^st century education, these tools can be strategically and effectively used to enhance the teaching and learning experience. This workshop will introduce participants to FlipSnack, Bubbl.us, and Poll Everywhere, and will also illustrate the ways in which these tools can be used to effectively enhance teaching and learning.

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

1.   Describe cool tools in education

2.   Produce polls using Poll Everywhere

3.   Create electronic flipbooks using Flipsnack

4.   Use Bubbl.us in the creation of mind-maps, processes and flow-charts

5.   Identify the most appropriate technology tools for course delivery
