The Department of Economics Distance and Outreach Committee and the Demas-Rampersad Seminar Series invites persons to ann in-person Seminar on the topic The Roles, Functions and Perspectives of the IDB, and the Importance of Research.

This event will be held on Thursday October 27 at 1 p.m. in the Faculty of Social Science's Room 103.

The Featured Speaker will be Mr. David Rosenblatt, Regional Economic Adviser for the Caribbean Country Department. Rosenblatt is the Regional Economic Adviser for the Caribbean Country Department at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Prior to this position, he worked for 27 years at the World Bank, where he divided his career between assignments in the Latin America and Caribbean region and the World Bank Chief Economist’s office. David holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
