A written contract plays a vital role in any film project. When doing any kind of film or movie project, it is important to have a contract. Sure, it may seem a bit daunting for a beginner to delve into legalese, but contracts do not need to be scary. They can be as simple as a plain-language document that outlines the general understanding of the project between you and any third party involved with the project.

The UWI Film Programme presents an informative lecture about the importance and benefits of using contracts for film projects. The seminar will be hosted by Dr. Justin Koo and Dr. Emma Perot from the UWI Faculty of Law.
