The Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Science and Technologywill be hosting The UWI Math Fair 2023: Unleashing the Mathlete in You on Thursday, February 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the JFK Auditorium. The UWI Math Fair is an event held annually at the St Augustine Campus. The UWI would like to cordially invite all secondary school students and teachers to this event.

There will be a multitude of activities, puzzles and brain teasers to attract students and promote enthusiasm for the field of Mathematics.
The event will consist of both preliminary and on-the-day activities and there would be a multitude of competitions to encourage Mathematics creativity and problem-solving. Our fair will culminate with the crowning of the UWI Math Fair Challenge Winner, awarded to the secondary school with the top overall performance.
