The Department of Liberal Arts will host a Special Lecture on Wednesday 16th April, 2008 in Faculty of Humanities and Education NB Room 2.
The lecture, "Books and the West Indian Formation of National Identities" will be presented by Professor David Dabydeen from 11:00 a.m - 12:00 noon.
The event is Open to staff and students
Professor David Dabydeen is Director of the Center for Caribbean Studies and Professor at the Centre for British Comparative Cultural Studies at the University of Warwick. Acclaimed Poet, Writer and Critic. Winner of the 2008 Anthony N. Sabga Caribbean Award for Excellence in Arts and Letters.
