The UWI’s Department of Creative and Festival Arts invites you to their annual carnival event, The Old Yard on Sunday, February 12, at noon. The Open campus Compound on Gordon Street will be been transformed into the architectural style reminiscent of long ago, for this event. It promises to offer a dynamic mix of a journey into cultural history and a carnival masquerade showcase within the format of a heritage fair.

 

Come witness portrayals of our very own traditional Carnival characters including Bats, Jab Molassie and Moko Jumbies, Midnight Robber and Dame Lorraine among others. 

 

Tickets for The Old Yard affordably priced at $100.00 for adults and $60.00 for children.
