As teaching and learning pivots online, higher education facilitators are increasingly looking for strategies to create new and engaging content for online learning. In this face-to-face workshop, you will explore and apply basic principles of videography by engaging in a practical exercise. 

Upon completion of this workshop, you will be able to: 

• Discuss three elements for video design and implementation.
• Apply best practices in setting up a space for video recording.
• Record a presentation using Zoom’s “PowerPoint as Virtual Background” feature.
• Demonstrate basic video editing techniques.
• Upload a video to YouTube for the purpose of embedding it in myeLearning.
