The Department of Creative & Festival Arts (DCFA) invites you to the staging of William Shakespeare’s, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” directed by Michailean Taylor, with musical Direction from Samantha Joseph and choreography by Mindy Giles.
Performed by students of the BA Theatre Arts programme, this production uses comedy, fantasy, mischief, and desire, to reveal “the course of true love” which “never runs smooth”.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream runs from 31 March – 02 April, at the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) at The UWI St Augustine.
Show times are 10am for Secondary School students and 8pm on Friday, March 31; 4pm and 8pm, on Saturday, April 01 and 6pm on Sunday, April 02. Tickets are $120, tertiary students with student ID pay $100, and children pay $80. Special packages are available to school groups attending the Friday 10am show.
