Music of the Diaspora Concert

The Department of Creative and Festival Arts (DCFA) hosts Music of the Diaspora on Saturday, April 29 at 6:30p.m. This collaboration between The UWI Arts Indian Classical Ensemble directed by national award winner and Instructor in Music, Shivannand Maharaj, and The UWI Arts Intermediate Steel Ensemble directed by Alexica Adams, will explore a range of musical themes.

Students of The UWI Music programmes will perform on Western and Indian musical instruments in small to medium sized ensembles. Likewise, the UWI Arts Intermediate Pan Ensemble brings an intriguing blend of selections to the concert. This concert will be held at the Daaga Auditorium on The UWI St Augustine Campus.
