The Department of Management Studies will host a free public lecture on the topic Benchmark, Analysis and Financial Trends of European Football Clubs: An Analysis and Comparison of Revenue Trends and Expenses of European Football Clubs and the Impact on Clubs' Profitability. This lecture will be held on Saturday, May 20 at 2 p.m. at the Management Studies Lecture Theatre.
Featured speaker Michel Lukasiewicz will provide an analysis and comparison of revenue trends and expenses of European football clubs and the impact on clubs' profitability. It will be presented by Michel Lukasiewicz, a former professional footballer, now turned investment banker with a focus on sports.

Speaker’s Bio
After a football career in France, Switzerland and Poland, Michel worked in M&A in a leading investment bank, and also for a top sponsor of the UEFA Champions Leagues. Afterwards, he joined an investment bank focusing on sport, to lead various range of financial transactions for sport-related stakeholders. His broad range of experience on the business side as well as on the pitch side enabled him to develop a strong understanding of the stakeholders evolving in the sports industry. Michel recently joined the Strategy and Investments Team at beIN Media Group, to manage the Group's growth project across all geographical areas. Michel graduated with a Master's degree in Finance as well as from the FIFA Master's.
