The University of Newcastle will host a conference with Key note speaker Robert A. Hill from Wednesday 16th -Friday 18th July, 2008. The Conference, 'Obeah and Other Powers: The Politics of Caribbean Religion and Healing' will be in Room G5, Percy Building in the Newcastle University. Other participants include: Ken Bilby, Erna Brodber, Alejandra Bronfman, Karen McCarthy Brown, Stephan Palmie, Kate Ramsay, Raquel Romberg, and David Scott.
