The Office of the Vice-Chancellor of The University of the West Indies jointly with the PJ Patterson Institute for Africa-Caribbean Advocacy, invites all staff, students and the wider UWI community to join the celebration of Africa-CARICOM Day on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Be part of the live Africa-CARICOM Day forum from 10:30 a.m. in person at the Council Room, The UWI Regional Headquarters, or online, via UWItv www.uwitv.global, www.facebook.com.uwitv or Flow Evo cable channels.

The event aims to raise awareness of the day and celebrate the relationship between Africa and CARICOM ‘Unity Across Continents and Oceans’.

Keynote Speakers include: Professor Sir Hilary Beckles, Vice-Chancellor, The UWI  and The Most Honourable P. J. Patterson Statesman-in-Residence, The UWI

All are encouraged to wear cultural dress.
