Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 29, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. as we usher in a breath of change and shift perspectives on COPD at the Caribbean Regional COPD Symposium, a special event marking World COPD Day 2023 with the theme "Breath of Change: Shifting Perspectives on COPD." This regional symposium is a collaborative effort by the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Thoracic Society of Trinidad and Tobago, Global Initiative for Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD), Thoracic Department, NCRHA, and the National Chest Hospital (NCH), Jamaica.

This is a hybrid event with simultaneous in-person sessions in Jamaica and at the Hyatt Trinidad by invitation only, while the virtual component is open to all participants via Zoom.

Targeted at medical practitioners and students across the Caribbean, this event is in partnership with GOLD, TSOTT, and The UWI FMS, featuring prominent speakers including Professor Terence Seemungal and Professor Alvar Agusti as keynote speakers.
