After a three-year hiatus, The UWI SPEC INternational Half-Marathon is back! This year's race is scheduled for Sunday. November 19, 2023. Adding to the excitement of this year's race we are proud a 5K that will now be a part of race morning. 

The half-marathon will commence at 5:00 a.m. from The UWI Sport and Physical Education Centre (SPEC), with the established 13.1-mile route remaining unchanged. Runners will follow the unobstructed Priority Bus Route, starting from St. Augustine and leading to the La Resource Junction in D’Abadie, before retracing the same path. The 5K will begin at 5:15 a.m. 

The cost of registration for the half marathon is as follows:

- 5K | Resident | All Ages – PayWise (TT$160.00) | PayPal (US$ 24.40)- 5K | Non-Resident | All Ages - PayPal (US$ 30.00)

- Half-Marathon | Resident | Minimum age – 15 – PayWise (TT$185.00) | PayPal (US$28.40)

- Half-Marathon | Non-Resident | Minimum age – 15 – PayPal (US$50.00) 

Payments can be made online via credit card, PayPal or through the purchase of a voucher code from UWI SAAS or select PayWise Agents.

Registration closes on November 13, 2023, or if we reach our 2,000 persons limit before this date it will close sooner, so be sure to secure your number today.

The distribution of packages will be done Friday, November 10 to Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at UWI SPEC between the following times:

Weekdays | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturday | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Sunday | 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
