The Caribbean Academy of Sciences in collaboration with University of the West Indies St. Augustine Campus, through the Faculty of Engineering, presents The CAS Biennial Conference. This conference scheduled to take place on 24th - 25th November 2023 at Block 13 of the Faculty of Engineering from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., will feature concurrent sessions with 100 presentations and posters from local, regional, and international delegates, distinguished guest speakers, panels, mentoring workshops, networking reception, dinner, and awards ceremony and the UNESCO/L'Oreal Women in Science Awards.

This year’s conference will feature two-day summit of talks, activities, and workshops surrounding the theme, “The Sustainability and Development Initiatives of the Caribbean, as issues of sustainability and development remain critical in the Caribbean. Amongst sustainability and development goals are fostering sciences, technology, and education to initiate transformative actions for safeguarding ecosystem conservation and improving our common future of the region. The conference will aim to connect scientists, academia and researchers, experts, and practitioners. In addition to parallel paper presentation sessions, the event will feature roundtable conversations and opportunities for networking.

Registration Fees:

-      CAS Members, participants, and presenters: USD150 (or TTD1,020) per person

-      Other Non-members, delegates, participants, and presenters: USD200 (or TTD1,360) per person

-      PG & UG Students (full time with proof): USD100 (or TTD680) per person

Early Bird Fee structure (in 10% Discount) with payments made by 2 October 2023 are:

-      CAS Members, participants, and presenters: USD135 (or TTD920) per person

-      Other Non-members, delegates, participants, and presenters: USD180 (or TTD1,220) per person

-      PG & UG Students (full time with proof): USD90 (or TTD610) per person
