This Prize Giving Ceremony, held on Friday, March 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., will celebrate both the primary and secondary school winners of History Fest's annual essay writing competition and the Department of History's first Instagram Reel Competition. The reel competition was designed to involve and engage the people of Trinidad and Tobago in researching and revealing the country's history and heritage through modern media techniques.

 

These two competitions were part of the Department's goal of taking History Fest beyond the campus community, allowing persons of all ages to participate and celebrate the importance of history.

 

Join us at the Audio Visual Room, 3rd Floor Alma Jordan Library of The UWI, St. Augustine Campus to honour these students.
