On Thursday February 29, the Faculty of Law will be hosting its second Ph.D Seminar Series, entitled, The 1951 Refugee Convention and its relevance today for developing Countries. From 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the Dean’s Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Compton Bourne Building, join Ms. Sheriza Khan as she explores the significance of the Convention, its impact on developing nations like Trinidad and Tobago, and underscores its origins and underlying principles. Challenges faced by developing countries in accommodating refugees and asylum seekers will also be discussed.
