Online Public Lecture: Why I Prefer ‘Academic Talent Development’ Over ‘Gifted Education'

Join education and psychology specialist, Professor Frank Worrell as he explores the debate surrounding "gifted" versus "talented" individuals. During his presentation, he will review several major models of giftedness and show that they all rest on a talent development framework and use the talent development mega model to review the major contributors to outstanding performance. Attendees will also gain insights into distinguishing between performance and production domains, understand the developmental nature of giftedness within domains, and receive strategies for increasing outstanding performance.
