The Institute of International Relations invites you to attend the Women in Regional and Global Leadership and Development: From Africa to the Caribbean Webinar on Thursday, April 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The webinar will focus on women who have made remarkable contributions to issues of regional and international concern.

Panellists include:

-          Mrs Janah Ncube, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Crisis Action

-          Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Jamaica

-          Honourable Ambassador Dr June Soomer, Chair: The UWI Global Campus Council; Chair designate: United Nations Permanent Forum of People of African Descent

-           Her Excellency Dr. Bineta Diop, Special Envoy of the Chairperson, African Union Commission 

The session will be moderated by Dr Adeoye O. Akinola, Head, Research and Teaching, Head of Unit, African Union Studies, Institute for Pan-African Thought and Conversation.
