The Schools of Education at The University of the West Indies are pleased to announce their Biennial Conference 2024 under the theme "Revolutionizing Caribbean Education: Cultivating Critical Competences in a Shifting Landscape" to be held on July, 8-10, 2024 in Kingston, Jamaica.
Crises such as climate change and the COVID-19 pandemic, alongside the augmented nature of artificial intelligence and its applications, underscore the world’s rapidly changing nature and complexity. Consequently, the educational landscape has had to rapidly evolve to respond to the impacts of these and similar phenomena on teaching and learning.
This forum will provide an opportunity for education stakeholders to engage with the competences needed for this rapidly changing and complex world, and educational stakeholders are invited to attend.
