The Department of Literary, Cultural, and Communication Studies of The Faculty of Humanities and Education at The University of the West Indies St. Augustine invites you to its Communication Studies Research and Open Day 2024 on Thursday, April 11from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Social Sciences Lounge and Undercroft at The UWI, St. Augustine Campus.

The event will showcase exciting, cutting-edge research projects conducted by final year Communication Studies students. The focus of their dynamic projects explores how communication impacts Caribbean identity and realities. Their booth displays will be visual exhibits of their findings and an opportunity for them to present and share perspectives learned. The theme, “Echoes of Influence: Exploring Caribbean Identities” underscores the understanding that communication is central to the formation and development of our identities as Caribbean people in the 21st century. 

This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the Communication Studies programmes and courses as well as opportunities for development and career paths in Communication Studies.
