On Wednesday, May 8 at 6:00 p.m., join Fullbright awardee and new media performance artist, Ms. Zoe Butler for a performative lecture, accompanied by a film screening and conversation at the DCFA Cheesman Building. At this event, she will share the creative work generated during her ongoing research fellowship in Trinidad and Tobago.
Ms. Butler draws from a collection of personal histories, family archives, Caribbean folklore stories, and sciences to offer a meditation on the materiality of artifacts and Black embodiment.
