Event Date(s): 22/05/2024

Location: Online

On Wednesday, May 22 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., join Multimedia Artist and Educator, Ms Tammy Kremer for an engaging discussion. At this session, Ms Kremmer will screen a short film, Homebirth of Trinidad and Tobago (Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival 2019; Palm Bay Caribe Film Festival 2020), as well as clips from additional videos of mothers and midwives' birth, with an emphasis on homebirth and natural birth, in Trinidad and Tobago. This will be followed by an open discussion.

Participants will learn about birth options and experiences in Trinidad and Tobago; get familiarized with stories available from Birth Stories of Trinidad and Tobago online and in the UWI archives; and consider one’s own ideas and experiences with birth.
