UWI Students and staff are invited to attend the Fireside Chat CAF Innovation Series, themed, Accelerating Innovation-Based Economies in the Caribbean, on Thursday, October 03, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m at the Daaga Auditorium.
The CAF Innovation Series brings together leaders, innovators, and policymakers to explore the power of science, innovation, and sustainability in shaping the Caribbean's future. The inaugural lecture, organized with The University of the West Indies St. Augustine Campus, will ignite discussions on leveraging innovation for economic development and empowering youth as the next generation of Caribbean change-makers. The event will also serve as a platform to launch CAF's first scholarship program for the Caribbean.
In collaboration with The UWI St. Augustine Campus, CAF presents a unique platform to address critical questions about the role of science and innovation in accelerating Caribbean development. This series is part of CAF's commitment to fostering economic growth through innovation and sustainability, engaging policymakers, civil society, academia, and the private sector in dialogue. This inaugural lecture will aim to prepare future leaders for the challenges of modern workplaces, while offering insights into science diplomacy, space exploration, and AI.
