The Trade and Economic Development Unit will host a Post Budget Discussion on Friday, October 25 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon via Zoom. This forum aims to dissect and analyse the recently released 2024 budget for Trinidad and Tobago, examining its implications for national development.

Attendees will gain insights into how the budget allocations will possibly influence key sectors and drive future development outcomes for Trinidad and Tobago

The event will feature the following speakers:

-              Dr. Bhoendradatt Tewarie, Former Pro-Vice Chancellor and UWI Principal and Former Minister of Planning

-              Dr. Terrence Farrell, Economist

-              Dr. Rebecca Gookool-Bosland, Economist

-              Professor Roger Hosein, Professor of Economics at The UWI

Mr. Vivek Charran, Chairman of the Confederation of Regional Business Chamber will be moderating the conversation.
