On Monday, December 09 at 1:00 p.m. The Centre for Language Learning, in collaboration with The University of Trinidad and Tobago, will be hosting the SIGN10 Conference's Open Ceremony. This event brings together researchers from across the globe to share their research.
The key note speaker will be Dr. Danielle Thompson, the first deaf Trinbagonian to obtain a PhD. She works at Gallaudet University in the School of Language, Education and Culture as Associate Professor of International Development. Her work includes teaching and research on deaf counselling, bullying, careers, diversity and deaf education.
This event will be held at the Centre for Language Learning (CLL) Auditorium.
