On Wednesday, December 04, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., the School for Graduate Studies and Research will launch the Resilience Through Entrepreneurship Research Cluster.
This cluster focuses on research and capacity building to develop sustainable entrepreneurial social sectors and resilient societies in the Caribbean. Their goals include bridging research gaps in business and social entrepreneurship in the region, supporting the transition of civil society organizations into social enterprises and building the social, operational and economic resilience of at-risk groups and communities by promoting social and sustainable entrepreneurship principles – one organisation at a time.
They aim to empower social and minority groups through entrepreneurial initiatives and business management practices, foster the social economy across the Caribbean, and map the first Caribbean-wide entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Key presenters include:
- Dr. Indianna Minto-Coy, Cluster Chair
- Dr. Pricilla Bahaw, Co-chair
- Dr. Ambica Medine, Co-chair
