The Business Development Unit of the Faculty of Social Sciences invites you to a comprehensive virtual workshop on Industrial Relations and Labour Law, taking place on May, 21, 22, 27, 28 and 29 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM

This five-day programme is designed to equip participants with a robust understanding of the subject, with a focus on current developments and workplace challenges.

Drawing on insights from three leading texts, the workshop combines theoretical foundations with practical approaches to managing employment relationships, resolving workplace conflicts and navigating the legal landscape of the modern workplace.

Key topics include:

- Introduction to Labour Law and Industrial Relations

- Dismissal and Progressive Discipline: Legal Considerations

- Maternity Protection and Gender Equality in the Workplace

- Conflict Resolution, Grievance Handling and Trade Unionism
