The Business Development Unit of the Faculty of Social Sciences is hosting a virtual Leadership Workshop titled Agile Leadership: Building Resilient Teams on from Monday, June 23 to Thursday, June 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. EC/AST. You will participate in discussions, interactive presentations, group exercises, resource videos, valuable articles and case examples.

Overview

In a world marked by rapid change and uncertainty, agile leadership has emerged as a key competency for navigating complex challenges. This four-day workshop introduces participants to the principles of agile leadership and management. Attendees will explore how to foster collaboration, adapt to changing circumstances, and lead highperforming teams in dynamic environments. Through hands-on activities and case studies, participants will develop the skills to lead with agility and drive innovation within their organizations.

Understanding Agile Leadership: Analyse a real-world example of agile leadership in action.

Agile Management Practices: Leading Through ChangeParticipants are given a dynamic scenario and must respond using agile leadership principles.

Fostering Innovation and Adaptability: Participants role-play common challenges in multigenerational teams, focusing on collaboration and innovation.

Agile Leadership in Action: Participants create a detailed action plan to apply agile leadership principles in their roles. Plans are peer-reviewed, followed by feedback and adjustments.

The Facilitator

Dana Hayes-Burke is the Chief Business Strategist & Founder of DHB Vision Strategist. She is also an International Conference Speaker who has been featured or invited to speak in over 10 countries because of her work to educate, empower and build in the spaces of vision, business strategy and leadership. With over 15 years of leadership experience in the private and public sector, Dana has built strong, empowered, and high-performing teams. Mrs. Hayes-Burke is an alumna of The University of the West Indies and holds a Master's Degree in Management Studies with distinction.
