The Institute of International Relations (IIR) invites you to a distinguished lecture by His Excellency Didier Chabert, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Trinidad and Tobago, titled: “Multilateralism in the Face of Current Major Global Crises”

As part of the IIR’s Diplomatic Dialogue Series, this timely presentation will explore how multilateral frameworks can respond to today’s most pressing global challenges in an increasingly complex and volatile geopolitical environment.

Ambassador Chabert—a graduate of HEC Paris, Sciences Po, and ENA—has served in key diplomatic posts across Europe and the Middle East since joining France’s Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs in 1987. His extensive experience includes roles such as Ambassador to Kosovo, Defence Counsellor at France’s NATO delegation, and Deputy Head of Mission in Beirut. His insights promise a compelling examination of the shifting landscape of global governance and the future of international cooperation.
