The UWI Open Campus will host the launch of the publication, “ Homelessness and Street Children” by Dr. Ronald Marshall, Prof. Ralph Premdas and Prof. Joe Springer on Thursday 5^th June, 2008 at the Learning Resource Centre, UWI St. Augustine from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

This publication features writings from Dr. Lennox Bernard, ‘Putting Homelessness into Academic and Public Discourse’, Prof. Ralph Premdas, ‘Homelessness: Developing a Caribbean Theory’ and Dr. Ronald Marshalll, ‘ Street Children, Deviant Behaviour, and Delinquency’.

“Homelessness and Street Children” is currently available in the UWI Bookshop and will be made available in bookstores nationwide from Monday 2^nd June, 2008.

Refreshments will be served at the launch.
