The Department of Management Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences invites you to the UWI/FIFA/CIES Sports Management Public Lecture on Mapping Trends in Sports, taking place on Saturday, 13th September 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The lecture will be held in the Management Lecture Theatre and online via Zoom, offering a hybrid format. This event is free and open to the public.

About the Presenter – Mr. Ricardo Trade

The lecture will be delivered by Mr. Ricardo Trade, CIES Local Coordinator at FGV University, Brazil, and President of the Rio de Janeiro State Padel Federation. With over 40 years of leadership experience across FIFA, the IOC, the Olympic Games, and continental federations, Mr. Trade has led world-class events in football, volleyball, basketball, and padel. He is currently part of the team behind Brazil’s bid to host the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 and is recognised for his expertise in governance, operations, sponsorship, and strategic management.
