As part of its Legacy Year celebrations, The University of the West Indies (UWI), Department of Creative and Festival Arts (DCFA) proudly presents Rhythm of Culture, an inspiring dance showcase.

Dates: Friday 7 and Saturday 8 November 2025 Venue: Winnifred Atwell Auditorium, Queen’s Hall, Port of Spain

This special production brings together the artistry of DCFA’s BA and Certificate students in Dance alongside members of the wider dance community. Audiences can expect an evening of vibrant performances that span Caribbean folk, modern, Indian, hip hop and contemporary dance forms.

All works are original choreographies created by DCFA lecturers, alumni and students, reflecting the department’s rich history and ongoing commitment to innovation in the performing arts.

Rhythm of Culture promises to be a highlight of the semester. An unforgettable celebration of movement, tradition and creativity.
