The Department of Creative & Festival Arts, Visual Arts Unit (Faculty of Humanities & Education) cordially invites you to “IN LIGHT”, a Divali-themed art exhibition showcasing the works of UWI Visual Arts students alongside music, dance, and theatrical performances.

About the Exhibition:

IN LIGHT explores how creative practitioners invoke contemplation on rituals, divinity, ancestral relationships, performance, identity and representation through the symbolism of Divali. The exhibition combines visual and performative expressions, including drawing, painting, design, mehndi  and Rangoli, to reflect on the contemporary through the lens of the past.

Experience a dynamic interplay between individual and society, brought to life through multiple artistic modalities in this captivating celebration of culture and creativity.
