Blue Economy Webinar

On Friday, October 31,  The UWI Institute for Sustainable Development (ISD) along with The Caribbean Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and other partners will host a webinar on Building Partnerships for a Resilient and Sustainable Blue Economy in the Greater Caribbean.

This insightful webinar will focus on establishing partnerships for a resilient and sustainable blue economy in the Greater Caribbean, as well as exploring blue economy projects that aid ecosystem restoration and data collection for the SDG Index.

Distinguished speakers include:

  • Mr. Fabio Arjona, Vice President, Conservation International Colombia
  • Dr. Branson Belle, Director, Center for the Blue Economy (COBE), The University of the West Indies, Five Islands Campus, Antigua and Barbuda
  • Dr. Deborah Villaroel-Lamb, Lecturer in Coastal Engineering and Management; Programme Coordinator for MSc Coastal Engineering and Management, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus
  • Ms. Cheryle Dubay-Tewarie, Acting Director, St. Augustine Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (STACIE) The University of the West Indies St. Augustine Campus
  • Dr. Juan Camilo Cárdenas, Director, SDG Center for Latin America and the Caribbean, Universidad de los Andes, Colombia
